Tonight I shot 241-258-220--719. Last 2 games were clean; and the first game, the only open was the 2-8-10 split. The last game I started having to deal with lane breakdown and didn't have my Tropical with me to get it down the lane. Pearl Cell I can only move so far left before I lose carry. *note to self: bring full arsenal next time*

I'm now averaging 223 over my last 24 games and 216 for all league bowling since December 12, covering 99 games. Also, 27 of my last 30 games have been 200+. I'm having a pretty good run.

5 games of practice with a friend from league, 195, 174, 255, 214, 212. Almost everything was in the pocket or very close to it, many 9 counts, 4 splits all night, and I made one of them (the 6-7). Very happy with my bowling.

I subbed in league last night and shot 182-234-203-619. The 234 and the 203 were both clean, I missed a 3-10 in the first game and that was my only open on the night. The last game I threw a strike in the 6th frame, then the 10th-12th and other than that everything was a 9 spare other than one 8 spare. Just kind of lost the carry and couldn't find the proper adjustment to get it back. Not a great night but I am not going to complain with 2 clean games.

Had a 8-games tournament on Sunday Morning which started at 11am. Was doing pretty well during the first block of 4 games which ended at 1:30pm. Averaging 201.
2nd set of 4 started, i felt different when i began to stance on the approach. Ended the 5th game with 184. 6th game, i felt weak.
i realised i have missed my lunch !!! My composure was gone, my mental was gone. Tried to have a quick bite, but not effective.
Eventually slumped my 2nd set of 4 with average 168!! and lost my pole position with 200 pins. Quite disappointed.

Went back to the bowling center yesterday. Lane condition was long and oily. Hitting the 1-3 pocket like a cotton ball and left 5 pins very often. Changed my stance to the 9th from 18th and played brooklyn across. Hahaha, never played this way before and it worked pretty well !!! i am surprised to get 257 and 214 with brooklyn play.
Is this unorthodox ?

Last week 626, this week 608. I am still having concentration issues. I had lost my job September 23, 2008, and my wife lost hers on November 13, 2008. We are living off unemployment and we did not get our checks today as usual!

I either obsess that I should not be bowling, or when I hear of someone talking about a medical issue I freak because I have no health insurance.

Half of the time I am bowling in a fog, but at least the last two week I shot something better.

tonight 222 244 189 for a 655. Another inconsistent yet decent night for me.

211,204,203=618. Only missed 2 spares all night so not too bad.
Used my Rogue Cell for the first game and stood 5 boards left of where I normally would start with my Sting. Handled the oil,carrydown with alot of success compared to the struggling of the sting in carrydown. Hit like a truck and seemed like the pins stayed low. Had 2 stone 9's and 1 stone 8 in the game. Second game I used the Rogue on one lane and had to switch to my Hornet on the other lane. 3rd game put the Rogue away and used the Hornet for the rest of the night.
All in all what a great ball!!!!

I practiced 1 game before league with the Rogue on fresh oil shot 185 but really was playing around with where to stand and watching the reaction. I could actually see it Flip over and turn left right to the pocket. Amazing!!!! Started out 3 strikes then pulled out the Sting and stood same spot,same,target and it missed the headpin all together for the next two frames. Then went back to the Rogue bam 4 more strikes. 10th frame I was asked to stand all the way left and put it out to the gutter. I did and came up very very light.
Love it!!!!

Bowled this afternoon with a group of friends. Used it to practice inside line on dryer lanes. Shot 193-233-226, 652. I'm doing much better in practice, but somehow, it only carries over to 2 of my 3 leagues. Wednesday is the problem night.

Tonight's the night.

Boy, did I struggle tonight. I am just having trouble at this house in league. Tonight was 10 pins. Missed 6. Why? And, I just can't seem to be relaxed there. I don't think I enjoy it. I don't know. I am beginning to not like 1 teammate, and that doesn't help. He has been getting under my skin lately. My 599 would have been so different if I picked up 10 pins. I got to the point that I feared facing it. I guess I should go back to my old reliable method, and envision that the 10 pin is my Mother-in-law. I know I would hit it then.
