The last couple sets have me scared. I've always been a better spare shooter than striker, currently averaging 217. Monday, in game 1, I missed four 10 pins. Tonight, in game 1, I missed three of them in a row and missed a fourth one later.
It's completely bizarre. There's no rhyme or reason, I'm just getting up there and missing them. I made a couple along the way, but I've never been on a streak this bad in terms of the 10. I recovered in both sets, but it still has me worried.
It's like I've gotten some awesome strike ability at the cost of my spare shooting. It's just odd. I know I'll figure it out and be back to normal, but man. I chalked Monday up as a fluke, and it happened again tonight. Scary stuff.
Bowled rubbish tonight!! first game 186, but missed three EASY spares i usually make easily. two 7,8 spares and a 1,3,5,6. then in the next 146.....missed a couple of easy spares and a couple of splits from what i thought were certain strikes, like the 7,9 split that looked Perfect (didnt strike in 2nd game!). it was like some pins were nailed to the lane...anyway in our two game leauge we lost the first by 24 then won the second by 62 to take two points, still second though as 1st won again this week...

132-145-153=430 series. I couldn't get relaxed or set and everything was just off. Oh well it happens. It felt like one of those cosmic inbalance things, I just felt uncomfortable.

Bowled terrible tonight, 164, 160, 143. Gosh I have got to stop doing that. The breaks were definately not going my way tonight I can definately say that. I am about tired of bowling on wooden lanes.
