Dennis, that was one of your less coherent posts. Enjoyable nonetheless. Sugar high, perhaps?

Went to watch my dad and decided to bowl 3. 238, 248, 215 for 701. Left a pocket 5-7 in 10th frame of 3rd game as the oil pushed down. Should have been 710+, oh well.

Dennis, that was one of your less coherent posts. Enjoyable nonetheless. Sugar high, perhaps? I thought it was coherent, and structurally sound. In any event. The night was fun and quite filling. PS: Don't ask me what movie we saw. I fell asleep, as usual. With all of that sugar, I bet my blood pressure is almost up to normal.

played 4 games with the guys today after work. They had two leagues + private party so we were stuck on the [censored] 1-2 lanes. The oil machine just went by so I though it would be OK. First ball of the game (no warms ups) the back end snapped. HUMM threw on to the 5bd and hung. Next side, threw on on the 7-8 and rolled out before mid lane. No oils at all. The oil machine came back to the locker behind our lanes, and asked if they oiled this set. he said on Lane 15 and up for league. I didn't even bother trying to get spares, I wanted to find the line. After 6 frames of moving all over the inside. I played what I call the cheetah line, but with some flare. Stand on about 7-8, at 4-5 on the arrows and break on the 2-3 hopefully. First try on this line was FLUSH WHOOHOO I found it. same line on the other side and threw 4x's and spare to kick off a whopping 142 first game. That what 6 open frames leaves ya LOL. The guys were talking ish like usualy but I found a consistant line. Next game banged a 235 which shut them up as they didn't even get a 200. 3rd game I threw the front 7 then church open, finished with a 244. Last game I had no more energy to get the ball out (using my Lane1 Evo), threw 219. Fun stuff for sure.

Had an interesting Thursday night league. Our team was collectively having a sub-par night. I bowled a 192 - 212 - 196 for a 600 even. The interesting thing was the team we were bowling against. One of their members shot 300 - 289 - 300. One of his teammates bowled a 260 - 299 - 245.
Needless to say..........we lost all points that night.......LOL

Yes sir.......that is huge!!!!! I wouldn't have believed it had I not witnessed it. This guy was is a zone like I had never seen before. In the 10th frame of each of his games people started gathering around our lanes and this guy was as cool as I have ever seen anyone. During the 10th he would throw his shot, walk backwards to the ball return, pick up his ball and go again. He didn't seem pressured, just outwardly calm and collected.
I had a lesson with my coach this morning and he and I were talking about it. He said there were 2 300s shot Wednesday night in the sanctioned league as well. There were a total of 8 300 games last week during league play...........unfortunately, none of them were mine.......LOL. I'll have one some day.

I threw a 161, 168, and 182 for a 511 series on Thursday night, and 207, 218, 200 for a 625 series on Friday night.
I hiccuped on Thursday mostly because I went into the night a little cocky and that caused me to get sloppy and lazy and I just couldn't make a lot happen. I guess I'm not as consistent in my game as I thought. I also think replacing the tap in my thumbholes had a little something to do with it but not a whole lot.
On Friday I re-focused myself after being humbled. And didn't shot under 200. Spare shooting was an issue for me though. I missed 5 easy spares that I shouldn't have. At least now I have the money to get a spare ball.
