leftykev, what pattern are you on for the tuesday late league? 948 in 4 games, and 774 the last three. i could use a day like that.

Well, bowling 4 leagues in 3-days is starting to take it's toll. WAY back in the day, i remember bowling all 9pm leagues, but 20 years later, it's crazy trying to bowl a 9pm league when i don't get home till Midnight and have to be up at 5:00AM for work frown

I'm bowling on THS and the house puts out a fairly flat shot. They generally allow more backend as the week progresses, since the bulk of their handicap leagues are midweek leagues. This Tuesday, there was a flatter then normal shot, so I was able to break out a more agressive ball to take advantage of the weaker backends.

198, 110, 217, 232 for my first no tap tournament. I really didn't use the No tap a whole lot but it was nice to have. The second game I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my approach until late in the game. I wasn't hitting the line square for about 5 frames and that killed me.

Regardless, I spent most of the night working on my release and free swing. It was fun, I had a blast, plus someone else was paying for me so that was cool.

Custard, it has been said many times here, but since you are new, it can be said again. Turn the scores off when you practice. They don't mean anything.

Practice something specific, like targeting, or timing, your armswing or release. Maybe just picking up corner pins. If you do these things, your scores really don't count, and you will help your game.

Dennis, how do you turn the scores off? I think that is something I should do. Or did you just mean not pay attention to them during practice?
