and both last week and this week, the ball has looked very strong. i am aware that both of its appearances were made for losing efforts, but today Mike Machuga is throwing the ball with (so far) excellent results; both Rob Stone and Randy Petersen have commented at least twice on Machuga not being supposed to play the outside on the chameleon, but Machuga just rolled a 240+ with it essentially where he is not supposed to play the lane at all. there was one ball in particular, the 6th frame against Kretzer, where machuga threw the gravity and i said "ut-oh," as the ball looked a good two boards left, and the ball pushed enough to make it to the pocket without going too high. there was one other shot also, either in the third or 4th, where he missed a board or two right and it read the lane early and got back to the pocket. this ball looks like it could become the centerpiece of a lot of arsenals in the near future.
Any thoughts?

I am reserving a spot in my bag for this- We have a Storm Rep coming next week and should give plenty of tips on drilling and reaction.

Do you know who is coming?
I think that this ball will replace the Cell as the ball for Nationals. Looks like you can do a lot of drillings it. Plus, it looks like it takes surface changes really well. I expect to see a lot of these in Vegas.

This ball looks amazing and seems to do the unexpected every time I see it. I hope and pray that it lives up to the expectations that have been placed on it. IT is one of the most talked about and advertised balls out there. So here's hopin'.

The HyRoad also did that. My Total Inferno also did that. As did my Big One, and my Infinite One, and my VP2 when the line broke down, and I would bet good money that whatever ball Walter Ray used this week worked outside.

Agreed, cgeorg. That's not what impresses me about seeing this ball roll. What does, however, is on a house shot how many boards this ball can cross on it's way to the break point and still have a BIG pop at the backend. I've seen strong pearls like the Gravity Shift do that, but not a strong, dull ball. I suspect medium-heavy to heavy house shots will have no chance against this ball in the hands of a capable operator.

this seems like a better ball than anything Storm has produced in a long time. i've seen both the hy-road and this ball multiple times on the tour in the last few weeks, whereas i don't really recall seeing the dimension much among the pros.

The Dimension came out after the tour ended last year. The VG has been available to the pros since the season started this year, so those looking for that motion are going with that ball. The Dimension was used on the summer specials by Storm staffers - I know Belmo used it, and I think PDW did as well.
