My final league for the week was last night....nothing like 4 leagues in 3 nights (i'll never do that again - yeah right smile )

Started off slow my first game and it got worse the second game, but I didn't get frustrated and made the necessary adjustments...

180, 164, 255, 253 for 852

596......I hate being a Bride's Maid. Nothing spectacular but at least I wasn't low man on our team this week.

What's that about Erin?

More on topic, I threw a 142,191,170 for a 503 series. The scores don't really matter as much as the technical progress I made tonight. Although I am a little peeved about missing two single pin spares. Oh well, there's always tommorrow.

213-162-182 = 513. Lost my line after game 1. Was searching for it back in game 2. Game 3 found my carry back but some crucial opens caused me a deuce.

Last night was my worst night of the year - 182, 168, 145: 495. I couldn't hit anything. And the really frustrating thing is I shot 612 the night before during practice. I can do well in practice but have a hard time during league play.

30 Clean, it is not unusual to bowl differently in practice vs league. There may be some changes that affect it, like oiling the lanes, the pace you bowl. Sometimes, just the time in between shots causes you to change your tempo.

Bowled twice today. Afternoon in the Senior group, and tonight as a sub for a bowler getting a minor operation on his knee. They were in the same house, and I saw the same reaction at both. I switched between the Terminator and the Conqueror, bowling roughly half a game with each on different lines. Bottom line was 605 early and 603 tonight.

I was very inconsistent both times and had trouble in my release. In many cases, the balls saved me, that is when I would switch. The Conq can play the center tight, while the Term can push out to the right.

A 187, 200, and 172 for a 559 series. Things are looking up. However splits keep killing me. 4 of my 8 opens tonight were high hitting splits and it the hit was only a little high at best on all four. Oh well, I feel like I'm throwing the ball better so I'll just have to adjust.
