I posted this on another thread but wanted to list as a new post also. Any bowlers in Michigan or even the Toledo area may be interested in the Survivor Sport Challenge at Skore Lanes in Taylor. The format is a 14 week session, you enter the league with 2 teamates and bowl with them the first 6 weeks. The emphasis however is your head to head matches with the person bowling on the opposite team
1vs1, 2vs2 etc. During this time your average places you in a tribe (Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts or Spades) and your winning percentage ranks you in the tribe for placement in the tournament. We currently have 10 teams so the night of the tournament the top 10 averages draft players for the second half of the season. This segment is now team oriented and the tournament at the end of the season will be a team event. We are constantly adding to the concept to keep it interesting. It is recognized by Sport Bowling with all appropriate awards and inspections of the lane conditions. Tapes are taken before each session to guarantee compliance with the sport pattern requirements. High average so far is 201 and it is not uncommon for a 200 game to win a jackpot. Anyone that is interested can contact Skore Lanes in Taylor and ask about the Survivor Sport Challenge Fire Island which is the next session scheduled for January.

Makes me wish I lived in Michigan, although, Chicago winters are already too cold for me. Sounds like a lot of fun. Enjoy it!
