I kind of like the new jerseys. They remind me of what NASCAR has done. You will be able to recognize your favorite bowlers by the color/patterns that they wear. They are a bit flashy though, but I believe they will be marketable,...which is a good thing for the PBA and bowling in general.

Well, he will have to trade in his leather parachute pants for something else. He will think of something.

Maybe he can start wearing a solid color polo and dockers? That'll stand out now.

While I won't be buying or wearing them, I thought they looked OK. At first, they looked like motor-cross jerseys but the look of some of them grew on me. Norm Duke's Storm jersey? Not so much. The way he was rolling yesterday, he could have worn his hippy costume from the ad and still taken the title! rotfl

The only way I would buy one is if I could wear it at Nationals without wearing something other than jeans and the rest of my team having to wear them too. As it stands right now, if you want to wear a mock turtle neck, your whole team has to have on the same shirt/color and wear dress pants.

These jerseys are GREAT and add a nice touch to the overall look and feel of the PBA events now. Thank goodness they're trying and executing new things on tour.

I like some of them but a lot of them just seem too loud and nasty. Plus, from what I heard, they cost about $125.00 each. So, even if they were to offer these to the general public, they're way out of my price range.

Some of the new jerseys looked ok (the simpler, less flashy ones). Norm Duke's was way too flashy for my taste but Chris Barnes' was better.

The same thing holds true for any other authentic sports apparel whether it be of the NFL/NBA/MLB or NASCAR or even the PBA. There is an old saying in the rap/hip-hop biz that goes:

"...if you want the bling-bling, ya gotta fork over the ching-ching"

But, at $125.00 USD, it's about $40-50 less than the above-mentioned team sports jerseys from the other leagues. Although I would only be getting about one or two, I think that if Gemini made them available to the fans that they would be targeting the more hardcore PBA Tour fan rather than just plain-old Joe Bowler.

...and then again there are also replica versions that they could make available for the casual fan as well. The other major pro sports leagues already have had replica jerseys available for the fans for years.

Here is one that Eddie Van Halen (or any Van Halen fan who bowls) would wear, it's designed after his old "tape-job" paint jobs on his guitars he used to use in the 80s and 90s:

Now all we need is a Marshall 12 x 4 cabinet with a tube amp and this one would absolutely rock!!!

If those shirts really are $125 or better a piece, they can keep them. That's almost enough for a new ball or new shoes. I have shirts.
