Rollers in other forums rave about this stuff, so I decided to try it. The bottle has yet to arrive, but from what I've read it sounds like the polish to end all polishes. Seems the best results come on strong balls sanded 2000 and lower with a coat of the Sauce. Thinking the first ball to get "Sauced" will be my Break Solid. Anybody here tried this stuff, and what did you think of it? Thanks!

Ordered some and it does give the ball length. Lots of length. For someone like me, it would be too much length, but for those with slower ball speeds and rev dominant and/or on drier patterns it would work great.

So far my results with this stuff have been great. I hit all 4 of my strike balls with it, and it works very well on both solid and pearl covers. The final finish is very mirror-like and also very tacky feeling. It adds plenty of length to strong bowling balls without making the back-end reaction difficult to control. Just tried my Cell for the first time on a fresh house shot which can produce jumpy back-end reactions, but the Cell was smooth and continuous as can be. I can also move 4-2 in from the line with my Cell and the Sauced Break Solid picks right up where the Cell leaves off. ball

If you have a heavy oil ball that doesn't see much action on typical league condition, you've got to try this stuff on it. I'm a major believer in the the "Secret Sauce!"

I've been using Bean's Secret Sauce since he released it commercially. It's a very good polish but it's unique. Here are a few helpful tips...

Use a very small amount. If you're using a new pad/towel you only need 3, maybe 4 drops per side. Once you've used the pad/towel a few times, spray it with water to reactive the "polish beads" (for lack of a better term) and then you'll only need 1 or 2 drops.

Although it's a liquid product it is fairly abrasive. Beans recommends a starting grit of 600 before applying the sauce. You can adjust the length of ball's reaction by starting with a higher or lower grit.

Do you need a spinner to apply this or just a few drops as suggested?

Spinner works best when applying polish.

It can be used by hand, with a little elbow grease. However, as Brandon said to get the best results use a spinner.

It took about a week for me too, Tim. I bet it will be worth the wait thumbsup.
