I've had this happen twice in the last couple of years. The first time, sitting on 11, the entire bowling alley stopped, and there was a crowd standing behind me. The second time, in March, there was no difference, except the pairs on either side stopped while I bowled the tenth frame.

In retrospect, I was nervous with or without the onlookers. So, I guess it made very little difference. Just focused on the next shot.
