i bowled 5 games of practice yesterday before league and shot the first game 190 after a rocky start, 2nd game went the front 7 before leaving a 10pin in the 8th frame to finish with a 267 because i did miss it, 3rd game again went the front 7 before leaving yet another 10pin in the 8th frame and then went to shoot 258, 4th game shot 201, 5th game went the front 7 again and left a flat 8pin in the 8th frame and then finished that game very poor and shot 237.

In league shot 193, 234, 211 to shoot 638. my average going into that night was 205

bowled league last night and shot 837 for four games. my team absolutely dominated last night taking 22 out of 25 points.

Won all 8 points so thats a good thing!

Bowled in my Monday League, 5 person mixed.
170-178-142:490. Missed three easy spares the last game, lost to my opponent 3-1, lost by two pins the first game and 8 for the series.

No-Tap league last night, 300-200-278. The lanes started flying in the second game and it just took me too long to realize what I needed to do.

Last night during league (THS):

226-187-203 = 616

First game was clean with even two converted splits. Second and third games I started tugging the ball now and then causing splits and easy spare misses.

I used the new VE all three games and was surprised by the fact that I did not have to move my feet or line the whole night.

bowled league tonight with a fractured thumb and managed to shoot a very nice 216, 243, 257 for a 716 series

Went to PBA practice last night. It is against Doctor's orders. But, 3 Aleve and it was the Shark.

I took a few approach practices without the ball, just trying out a slide and knee bend. Seemed OK. Stretched the lower back. Even leaned backward over the scorekeeper, and got a few pops.

Took out my Dynamic Power, and walked slowly, released straight over 8, and strike.
A Hambone later, I finally left a 10 pin because I picked up a little speed. Missed it because I didn't bring my spare ball, then doubled. Got the ball out to 6 and it stayed there for a washout. Left another 10/miss in the tenth for a low 200.

Second game was about the same , finishing with another low 200.

Took out my Virtual Gravity and couldn't find a line. Moved left, tried outside, left some horrible splits for opens. Rolled 2-140ish games.

Next, it was the Terminator's turn. Moved outside again, over 8. Got extra length and a back end snap. Pins seemed to splash. Left a few spares that I chopped, but finished with a 190 something.

The Dynamic Power rolls on this pattern without any trouble. Have no reason why I couldn't keep the VG in line. It caused me to keep moving.

Back felt fine last night. Couldn't move this morning. Guess I should bowl again to loosen it up.

Sidenote. Bowled next to 2 fellows who I see weekly. They were both having a terrible time on the lanes. They were rolling the Virtual Energy, T-Road, and other balls that wouldn't finish. One fellow actually had 9 balls in practice, and couldn't find any one to work. He and I talked, since he saw my DP working when his balls didn't. Then, he said wait.

Ran out to his car, where he had a Fury Pearl that had the surface dulled to 320. He finished his game with 7 in a row. The Fury just held a tight line with only a 3 board turn. "That's the ball I will use in League" he said.

Don't understand a pearl cover being sanded to 320?

Monday Night Mixed League

Couldn't find the pocket and was missing spares. Bad combination. Finally moved to the right at the end of game 1, took me a game to get used too and bowled decent the last game. As a team we were in first place, probably not anymore (21-7 loss).
