Thanks, eastwest...I'm glad I was able to find what I needed to do to succeed, even if it meant I had to throw one [censored] game first. :P

Team took max points again, we're sitting 2nd and closing the gap. I went 208-244-221 for 673 so right on my 224 ave., but I was very happy to get a clean series for the first time ever. The approaches were so sticky I was essentially just planting at the line which made for some squirrely first balls, but staying clean is great.

Well, I bowled better than my scores, again. I just can't carry on the first ball with regularity. No strings at all. I did pick up every 10 pin, but I picked the 6 off a 6-10 a couple of times.

A sign was given in my first 3 frames when I had 2, 4-9's on what I thought were good hits.

Shot 568, and team only won the last game and total pins. We lost 2 games by less than 15 pins.

Nice series Chubbs,
And a clean one at that,..very nice.

Dennis,
568 is not so bad, it could have been much worse, seeing that you left a few splits.
At least you picked up your 10 pins, thats a plus. You will start stringing them again.

Well shot 222 first game(had a dutch 200 going with all ten pins for the first 6 frames)2nd game 201 and last game totally fell apart 146(and yes used my sting for all 3). I need to get another ball for that last game. My quake just blows. Worse is we only won 1 game the team we bowled had averages in the 150's and with handicap they were bowling 280's. Can't compete with that for 3 games let alone 1.
Maybe next week will be better.

Our league has fallen apart, we lost 5 of the 9 teams. Four is just ridiculous. We're restructuring to a singles league. Hopefully bring a few of the bowlers back, and attract some new faces to bring people back for next year.

We swept the pts this week, I didn't do so hot. 181,171,177

I only missed one spare, but couldn't hit the pocket with regularity. Only one Turkey and One double the whole night. It wasn't pretty.

My Week 5 bowling (BowlSK)

I might have had a decent series tonight, except that my third game felt rushed because we were informed that they may have had to close the place due to a water main problem in the area that forced the closing of the nearby mall. However, the water was back on as my night at the lanes ended. The team was in a rare position of giving pins to our opponents, but we still ended up winning 3 of the 4 points.

Week 5 First position round.
http://www.bowlsk.com/games/view-series.html?series=18618
I was helping my cousin, and arrived a little late, as I missed practice.
Lanes were freshly dressed , due to position round, I suppose.
Dowled well, struggled early with no practice, (Missed the first 2 spares)
But was lined up well, by the 4th frame.

226 , 201 , 234 661 series.

Average jumped 5 pins to 199!

Still struggled a bit in the 2nd game, as it has been my
low game the first 5 weeks each game.

Good luck and keep rolling!
