Started with the Bounty this time; it worked great until the third game, when it quit carrying and I wasn't sure what the adjustment needed to be. I finished up the third game with the Sidewinder.

Our team won the rolloffs! First place out of nine teams, fourteen pins ahead of the second-place team. Our second championship in a row in this league, so of course all the men on the team quit...us three guys will meet up next year in a friday scratch league in the same house.

If this week counts towards our averages, I'll finish the league with 205.0; if not, I'll finish at 204.4. Either way, that'll be my book average for next year.

Sweeper is next week, then I'm done with leagues until next fall. I'm planning to work on my form, but that's about all I can do, since I'll be forced to take five weeks off right in the middle of summer-league season.

cg, that system says that CARRY is the number of pocket shots that have struck. You show 569 in CARRY. But, you have a total of 595 STRIKES. Does this mean you had 24 non-pocket strikes? Are these cross overs? High nose hits?

Can you explain this?

Just a thought. You have recorded every game through the year. While I was working with my Coach on consistency, I was conscious of the spread of my scores. I didn't want games too low, but relatively close to my average. So, I would keep Track of games in the 180's, 190's, 200's, etc. Keeping the spread tight made for a consistent night. I didn't want to see a 140 followed by a 240. Through the year, I was noticing my lower games of the night getting higher as I became more consistent.

Can you add up the scores in 10 point increments to produce a legend that shows the total games in each 10 pin bucket?

Dennis, you're right about carry. Those 24 were shots that had no business striking, but did anyway. I can only remember a few through the nose, so they were probably mostly Brooklyn.

I was thinking about doing some statistics. 80% of the games were between x and y, etc. Standard deviation. We have mean, but not median, min, or max.

Who wants to pay me to leave my job so I can work on this?

No one. Isn't that what advertising dollars and links are for?

Well I finished up my 2008 Winter league seasons this week with 2 roll offs. First was friday night, shot 246 and we finished in 3rd place. Monday night roll off I shot 226 with two stone 8's, we finished 5th in that one. Overall it was a great season, I am definitely ready for the summer leagues.

Spare game sucked tonight. Started off good with a 219 and then it went down hill. 219-151-164 = 534

Team Wise only took 2 pts out of 7pts. 2 more weeks after tonight then we finally finish up winter league!

I think only persone still bowling winter leagues. Well just a struggle today to get to bowling alley and to get threw the games since been sick all week. So didnt ball all that good: 178-215-154 = 547

Team wont 2 pts out of 7pts. Next week position round and then week after that is sweeps and then finally down with winter leagues.

This is a really late finish, isn't it? Most Summer Leagues around here are 2 weeks into season.

Some leagues in my area are still finishing up as well. Not mine though. I think a few of the summer leagues might have started, but the one I entered doesn't start until June 14, so I still got almost a month before it starts.
