Saturday league went alright... shot a 568, 176 - 200 - 192. We unfortunately only took one out of four. This was against the 1st place team. So now we're three games behind them. Which isn't really a bad thing considering we're well ahead of 3rd place!
Now Friday night I bowled an ABT tournament and bowled well! Shot a 655 in the prelims 232, 224, 199. Then in the round of 16 or 20 lol... I shot a 568 which the 2nd game killed me as I ended up placing 6th just missing the semi's by 3 pins. Shot a 212, 166, 190. Just one dang spare, but after covering the $105 entry fee I took home $389!

Well my string of consecutive 700s ends at 3. I didnt have it tonight. The first game was OK at 223, then I struggled and made ball changes for a 169 and ended with the Uprising's first use in a league for a 206. I didnt even break 600 (598) let alone 700 lol The team picked me up though, we took 5 of 7 points and are starting out the 2nd half much stronger.
On a side note the Uprising and the new XXXL ball got some fine scracthes in them both in the 2 games of practice I throw before league. They arent deep but are there enough to be seen. The manager offered to have it fixed but I'll probably let it go as its not that bad. I still hate that though.

Saturday i woke up on time and then for some reason went back to sleep. was awakened by my Cell phone vibrating with a text from one of my teammates asking where i was, this was at 10:30. the league was supposed to start at 10:30, but for some reason practice wasn't started till 10:30. i got there at 10 of 11, and my team was in the 4th frame of the first game, so i was able to roll that game. could have used practice though, first five frames were spare strike spare open open. however, i did not open for the rest of the league session after that. Interestingly, i had two 5 counts on first shots in the second game, both of which came after 4 baggers. the first was in frame 6, a left bucket + 7 pin, which i made, and the second was the last fill ball of the 10th, a 3-4-6-7-10, which i did not have to shoot.
183, 248, 288 = 719, third 700+ this year and second of exactly 719.
