Ugh, brad, tell me about it. Those single pins have been killing me lately - kept me from cashing in a tournament this past weekend.

Your strike ball looked pretty good for the first 2 games - what happened in game 3?

I haven't checked in over the last week or so.. I've been pretty bummed since I shot my second week (468, ouch) of my Wednesday night league. This Monday wasn't a bad set (578) for that league, overall, but I felt like I could've done better.

This Wednesday however, it felt like a huge turnaround. Shot 688 with my first 8 strikes in a row in the second game.

BowlSK link: http://www.bowlsk.com/games/view-series.html?series=14820

Had a good chance at my first 300 game, and a 700 series. Neither happened, but it was still a great night. Team won all four. In the 9th frame of the second game, I really started to feel it. I just tried to stay relaxed, but it translated into a slightly slower ball speed and it went high. Almost got lucky on the carry, but the 7 pin just missed the 4 pin. Finished with a 268, and my highest game to date.

Average is back up to a 198, which is right around where I want to be this year. It's still really early in both of my leagues, but I'm going to focus on being consistent. Hopefully, I'll stay right around my 190 average goal in the meantime.

Thanks Brandon, I should be on the board more regularly again. At any rate, I had a great practice last night in my Sunday house on the inside line I am trying to play for Sunday night. They laid the oil just like in league and it worked fairly well...I average a 206 for about 7 games. So let's hope I can stay focused and play that shot on Sunday...but it's all about adjustments and I know that. With my luck, they'll switch the shot up and I'll have to play something different. But I'm ready...have a great bowling weekend everyone.

God Bless...

My buddy at work wanted to try the PBAX shot, so I let him. I subbed in a league last night at the lanes I played at during the summer. They merged the two leagues they had in the summer together cuz teams were leaving one league to join the other, so 32 teams. Haven't played there since last month. Lanes were a lil drier then I'd like, had throw a bit harder to the deep corner. Stood right ft on 40 and breakpoint was down at the 5-6, anything left was too high. Had to establish since that's how they do it there. Shot a 219, 217, 233 for a 669. Had some carry issues, lots of solid 4 pins through out the night.

And my buddy that played PBAX for me.......shot a 154 ave, and owes me lunch. He said he'd bowl a 185 ave HAHA. (normally a 213ave)

Eraser - I think we need to start singing or something :-)

Nothing real exciting last night - I was apparantly asleep the 1st game. 128, 178, 182. That gonna hurt my average - ha ha.

My lanes were dry and I was having trouble controlling the ball - its my own fault but I apparantly did something right the 2nd and 3rd game (considering I am usually 150+ average) - next week is a new week to try and keep my average in the 170's. We shall see.
