Tyveil,
Yes we do have to bowl. No one seems to be upset about it from what I can tell. I wnat to anyway, I need to redeem our loss last Sunday. Our team is so much better than we displayed, so the next team is in for a lot trouble. We usually destroy the team we play after a loss.

Hi guys. Yes, Tyveil.. it IS a long season. It goes from the first week of Feb to either the last week of Nov or first week of Dec. Then we get a few weeks break before doing it again. Finishes at a funny time because we all walk on our heads, down here (Southern Hemisphere) and it is mid-summer. The alley gets warm enough during the winter.. in summer it is unbearable! Ok.. enuff from me.. good luck for your next outings and I am looking forward to your reports.
Cheers, all.

Well it looks like only a few of us are on for league this week. Both my leagues are on for this weekend and have my mens league starting in about 1 hour and 45 minutes. I feel really good today and have been doing a lot of reading(bowling tips) and surfing (bowling sites) today. I really feel my mental game will be on tonight and hopefully I can couple that with a solid physical game. I can feel a 600 tonight (hopefully) but we shall see. Good luck to all and I will post tomorrow morning with results.

How'd you guys do ?

My bowling was about my league average, I would have liked to do a lot better but I guess it just wasn't my week ( 144, 151, 158 ).

We won all four games though which I think makes us in the lead by 14 games.

Sounds like you guys are kickin butt Mutilated. we started the night tied for 2nd down 2 points (1 game) and we went downhill from there. We won the first game by 40 and seemed to be looking good but the team we were bowling got hot and threw a 1088 on us. We lost the 2nd by about 25 as we only had 2 guys over our averages for the game. the 3rd went pretty much the same way as we just didn't get it going. I started the night with a 158 average and threw a 169,170,156. Still leaving quite a few splits off of decent shots. last game I have a 3 bagger going into the 9th, and throw a pretty first ball only to leave the 7-10. I got pretty upset, and since we had already lost, just whipped my ball in the 10th and opened. We still have a few weeks until the half so plenty of time to catch the leaders.

Saturdays league wasn't too bad. very oily but at least predictable, that was until the 3rd game when the pattern broke down and I was lost.
Finished with a 187, 209, 138 (hows that for consistant?) started with a 161 avg in this league. My wife bowled like **** for the first 2 games bur had a nice 3rd game to help us win. However we ened up losing overall by 4 pins.

Hi Guys, sounds like the early season highs have worn off a bit and its time to start getting the ol' concentration going. I know my season has tailed off with only one night to go, my enthuse has got up and left me. Never mind, I will try hard tomorrow. Good luck for your next rounds. See you then.

Well, our team did well tonight. I didn't do as well as I wanted, 210/161/193, but our team did win 3 and 1/2 of 4 games (tied game #2), so my bad play didn't hurt us too much. Thank goodness the other teammates came through.

Wish I could echo that. We took three of 5 by luck. My series 213/173/146 . Tonight was rough. Out of both teams all but 2 bowlers pretty much utilized the same line or close to it as mine. There was no where to move to. I barely etched the last game out of nothing. Mostly do to my own mindset. I was getting irritated with myself, once I basicly "gave up" trying to figure the lanes out and threw my normal shot, for some reason it started working again. Go figure. Oh Well on ward and upward. Somehow still shot a lil tiny bit over my average.

Good to hear that you are all back into it again. My night was not a thrill, but we managed better than half the available points. I bowled my average, exactly, but took the hard way to do it.. 173, 114, 168. Not a pretty sight! I am done for the season.. league starts again in Feb but I think, this year, I will be doing some work during the break. Looking forward to hearing how you guys get on as your season progresses. Good luck and good bowling.
