I'd say the biggest thing you need to work on is clearing your trail leg, and getting lower at the line. Your leg stays behind you, so you can't get the ball to swing straight, and you can't get the ball near your ankle at release. Get that trail leg out of the way and work on a strong, low, balanced finish.

Timing is good, and release seems consistent. But, you seem to change your armswing plane on different shots. Fisrt ball is straight back. 7-pin is behind your back, and 10-pin, armswing is out. You seem to change your swing to hit your target.
You may benefit from walking more toward your target, and keeping your armswing straight all the time.

No, but it is in the way at the bottom, which means that it can't come straight back, which will cause it to either be off plane, or make him muscle it to get it back where it needs to be. Then, on the way down, he has to guide it out around his leg again, instead of letting it fall straight down from the top. There is a combination of factors. Maybe he is muscling it anyways, and if his leg was out of the way, the swing would be the same. But, the leg *is* in the way, so he will not be able to fix the swing plane until he removes the obstacle that lies within it.
leftykev: sorry if this is overwhelming you. Summary: try to keep your left leg out of the way of the ball, and keep your armswing free so that gravity controls the direction. If you stay square to your target, physics should take care of the rest.

Kev, you have a very solid repeatable game, there are a couple of things I see you needing to work on:
1. Get the trail leg out of the way like cg said, your left knee should be 6 to 8" behind the right knee.
2. Your spare shot release at the 7 pin was nice and fluid, but on your strike shots you will notice your elbow bends because you are trying to hook the ball. Stop trying to hook the ball so much and just keep your wrist in position and let the ball just flow off your hand nice and smooth.
From the angle the camera is I couldn't see your wrist position or the swing plane issues Dennis was speaking of since you were standing at a different angle to the camera it could have been the camera angle and not you, anyway I didn't see you forcing the swing which is usually the cause of swing plane issues.
Post a side view and a close up of your swing into the release and I can help you further.

Jim,
I was already aware of the trail leg issue, since it's been a part of my game since the beginning. I am working on finding a coach to address that issue, since my attempts at self-correction have not met with little success.
As you might recall from previous posts, I'm going with WAY more forward thumb pitch (i'm at 1/2" forward), this might be the result of my release and swing adjusting to the forward pitch, since I previously squeezed and controlled my swing more. Shame I didn't have a before video. I am working on smoothing out my swing and wrist position, since within the past couple of weeks, I am now just started getting comforatble with the forward thumb pitch.
I will prepare another video this weekend, from the side and back, for review.
thanks!
