Does anyone have a general idea what it takes to get on staff with a bowling ball company and what they look for in their staff members? Thanks

You need to win a major amature tournament or make a good showing in all of the major amature tournaments. If you do they will get a hold of you.

To help market their equipment by making it look good with your skill. Basically you have to be a top notch bowler and like Jim said do well major amateur tournaments often. Now you can get on some of the test staff that gets you discounts on equipment but you have to give reviews on all the equipment you get from that manufacturer. This sometimes costs you a little bit upfront though.
