My wife just picked a 14# Anger Raw Hammer to fight heavy oil. I was wondering what you thought of it. Good/bad, sucks up oil to fast? Just curious. It works excellent for her speed and revs.

I had a 16# Raw Hammer Anger and it was a good ball when I had it. I had to move down to a 15# ball though. It has some good hook to it and can fight medium oil conditions from what I found. I did have a problem with heavy oil with the ball though. All in all it was a reliable ball. I liked it even better polished and playing it for dry lanes.

Wipe it after every shot, clean it after every session and it should serve her very well. Like any dull surfaced ball, it will be more prone to oil absorption, but I'd have a hard time finding a better bang-for-buck heavy oil ball. Good find!

A friend of mine has this ball and is a monster on a house shot. But on long oil patterns it just about turned into a spare ball for him. I would say he is a tweener as far as revs are concerned. But as said you have got to take care of it and wipe it before every shot and clean it with a ball cleaner after ever series.

180fury, I love my LevRg. I just made the switch to 16# equipment and had got a good deal on my Copperhead which was the only reason I didnt go to a 16# LevRg. When the lanes get messed up and I'm lost I go back to my LevRg. It's good in the heavy oil but forgiving when it starts to dry up. I've had it almost a year now and its shown no signs of giving up. If my Copperhead dies I will defintly get another LevRg. One of my leagues is a mixed league. When I get mad and things dont go right one the girls on our team says get your gum ball back out and start striking. The girls like the color, mine has alot of pink and blue in it. Hope this helps, Mark

It works excellent for her speed and revs. I have this ball and have been using it since Christmas 07. I like it so far. As long as I keep my fundamentals in line it works great. I haven't really used it on heavy oil - mostly medium in the 2 houses I am in. All in all I am pleased.

that is interesting mja. i like MoRich's stuff and i would love to try others. mo has a deal with him when he comes. 260$ gets you the ball of chose and drilled by mo at the Pro Shop himself and one hour one on one coaching and other stuff but i can't remember the rest but i just took the one on one coaching with out the ball this time. but next MoRich i was thinking of getting the LevRg. thanks it does help and i hope your wife likes the ball. i'm going to get my wife a scout reactive. not a powerful but something to start with
