If its hooking across the head pin, then you need to move at least your feet, probably both your feet and target. The Cell is probably grabbing quite a bit earlier and losing energy therefore ending up more in the pocket, but not necessarily with sufficient energy for consistent striking. Erin

If you see your ball starting to work before you want it, then you need to move left with your feet.
