235+219+205=659 http://www.bowlsk.com/games/view-series.html?series=6555Series recap: First night. We bowled the vacant team, which meant we needed to hit our average to win each game. One guy on the team had no sanctioned average, so he came in at 200, even though he is a 155 bowler. We stepped it up, taking all 7 points. I got beat in the 2nd round of brackets, 225-219. I was still in the Eliminator, so I may have some cash coming to me next week. Being that we bowled the vacant team, and I ended up as deep as I did by the end of the game, I'm going to really have to a) get the avalanche polished up (it's at 2000 now) and b) get comfortable throwing a lot faster, or in front of the ball return.

Okey my third post on same subject but never showed up cause we max out the other thread. http://www.bowlsk.com/games/view-series.html?series=6337Much better than previous 3 weeks, i'm slowly getting out of my slump. I just left too much wood on the deck tonight that i should of picked up. Espeically the first two games i opened in the 10th frame and those killed those games especially. I needed to fill that frame and i didnt. 182-176-203 = 561 Team wise my team was off. Husband and wife were bickering and brought it to the bowling alley which didnt help one bit. So only mananged 2 pts out of 7 pts in Position Round. So might end up 5th or 6th. Next week sweepers.

Funny that Admin is saying that there's a problem with the summer leagues 2008 post. I can see Brandon's two posts and Chris Georges too in the original post. No problem from my end.

Nice Bowling Dennis, Ludo, Ritchie, cgeorg, Brandon, and Mike.
As for me last night was just o.k. as I bowled right at my average. I shot a 500 even (149, 165, 186). For the first game and a half I was throwing too hard and missing the pocket way too much. I finally slowed down and bowled pretty decent the 2nd half of the night. As a team we ran into a buzzsaw. For the first 2 games, three members of the other team bowled at least 20 above their averages. They came down to earth the last game so we managed to take that one going 1-3.
Next week is position then sweepers. We should finish somewhere between 8th and 4th.

Yeah, we just reposted to boost our post counts I also can see all the stuff in the summer thread, but I have my preferences set up to show 50 posts per page, not the default 10, so that could make a difference. I only have 10 pages of posts in that thread, whereas others would have 50. It may be a pagaing limit, rather than a post limit? In any case, this thread should be just about dead. Also, I just realized I posted it in the wrong thread, so I'm going to have to copy it over to the fall/winter thread

Final Wednesday Summer Mixed League standingsIt's official...my team took 5th place. We actually tied for 4th in points, but "Team Amelia" had 256 more pins w/ handicap. My cousins' team, the "Lounge Lizards," finished 13th, but they were in the league's basement for some time, so they put on a charge at the end. My team finished ahead of the scratch team, "Fun And Games," too, so I had to be pleased with that.

Good luck on that one. I think that is why we are seeing so many double posts
