I agree! It would be awesome to have somthing like Wii bowling only with actual equipment and stuff. Like the madden or tiger series of games. Maybe Norm Duke 2010???

It really sucks that there hasn't been a good bowling game. I used to play a game that was just straight up called "Bowling" that was for PS1, was alright for the time.
I have a Gametap account and have played both Friday Night Bowling and Fast Lane Bowling, both made in 2003..so they aren't too old. Fast Lane Bowling seems to be a bit better, both hard to grasp though.

Oh yeah I have Friday Night Bowling for my computer and I could not get the ball on the lane. I tried everything lol. I just got BrunswickPro Bowling for the Playstation 2 but, I will play it on the PS3. I want a PS3 Bowling game already.

I have played a lot of bowling games and i never seem to do that well on a lot of them. Wii bowling is so inaccurate it is not funny, but it is good exercise. I have never found a game that is really compatible with my bowling style, but I don't expect that. It is nice to play when you don't want to go to the lanes.

Wii bowling is bull. The way the wrist is turned is said to be like a doorknob which is completely wrong from reality. The ball will hook towards the pins no matter what: for instance, if you aim with the red line left of head pin the ball will naturally hook right for right handers, and if you aim right of head pin the ball will naturally hook left. no matter how you turn the wrist. The characters timing is terrible and controlling it is messy. The first movement causes backswing and second forward swing. releasing is wrong too as the wrist is turned first before the equivalent of the thumb, the b button, is released. wrong.
I can't stand Wii bowling. Many people I know and some internet sites even state how great it is and realistic to actual bowling style and technique. I laugh at those people knowing how wrong they are and would gladly bowl with most of them seeing as how their Wii bowling techniques won't help them much lol. of course, there are some bowlers who mess with Wii bowling anyway just keeping the messed up form of the game separate from that of reality lol

I won't argue with anyone over the fact that Wii Sports bowling is not like real bowling, but it is the closest to real bowling then any other game out there. And yes you can throw the ball straigt, it requires absolutly no tilting of the remote at all when throwing. My wife got me one of the AMF bowling games for Wii and it is 10 times worst then Wii sport. I think AMF was trying to make a game that appealed to children and not bowlers. One of these days some programer will get with a few bowlers and finally make a game that is worth while. until then I will be Wii Sport bowling and cursing all the stupid smiles on the bowlers. hahaha.
