I had two fo mine quit on me within 2 weeks. I would quit just yet though. I met two of my really close bowling buddies because those two left. Most of us are in the same league, but do not bowl on the same teams. We prefer it that way. When I mentioned to most of my friends that I'm joining a bowling league again, most think it's pretty cool. Even the co-workers at my summer job think it's cool...most everyone I talk to seems to enjoy bowling, even if they aren't the league bowling type (nothing wrong with that). I had one friend who used to crack jokes when we went bowling, because I brought my own ball...but he would then ask me for tips on how to bowl better. Besides, I play the tuba (something I'm more likely to mention than bowling when I meet new people), and I have NEVER gotten laughed at for that. I'd expect to get made fun of for that way more than bowling.
