I aim straight down the middle of the fairway to play the slice. Wouldn't you know though that is the one time during my round that I'll hit it straight.

Guess that way you get to use your long irons more.

Or, move the ball further back in your stance, and make sure you keep your swing path inside-to-out.

I would take out my 5 iron. I can hit it about 210 and move it a little right to left.

Truthfully, I can move my 3 and my 5 wood around pretty well. Back when I was able to get on the course, I could manipulate the ball pretty well with my fairway woods.

GP, - 5 iron makes sense. I rarely can draw the ball. A tact I never learned. Both my 3 and 5 woods are fairly straight at 240-50 and 220-30 with elevation. I have a course here where on a dog left, 250 is not long enough, but puts you in narrows, and between trees. Not around the corner. It's a 520 yd hole. Turn is 270, and 280 runs downhill to a creek, which I have managed to hit a few times. Always have trouble with that hole.
