I wouldn't use a jar opener. For one thing they are really thin and would probably break fairly quickly. Second, a jar opener is REALLY sticky. I think that it would be a bit too much. If it is bothering you that much, save some $ and buy a new pair that have an actual slide shoe and plant shoe.

Buy a clean pair of sneakers that you only wear for bowling and just wear the right shoe.

One word of caution is whatever shoe you decide to buy, make sure you do some test approaches so you do not stick or slip more then you are used to from the house shoes.

you say that i should do some test approaches, how can i do the test approaches withouth buying the shoe?

She meant that when you do buy a new pair of shoes you should do a test shot or just walk to the line and make sure you aren't going to stick or slide too much.

while we are on the subject, does anybody own a pair of shoes that have the interchangeable soles on them? and if so which soles do u have because i know they have like 10 or 11 different soles that u can get and i am wondering which ones i should get if i get shoes that have changeable soles

I do, I ended up changing the sole to the red one, the heel I kept with the one that came on the shoe. I haven't had to change either at different houses, just scuff them or smooth them occasionally.

10 sole 5 heel. dexter right handed 90$$ one of the best things i have bought. i had universals. i think that my shoe change has helped a littler on my approach. also jim is right on the sneaker shoe. my coach does that sometimes. he likes to stick. go fig. plus he'll be up there bowling with me in his sneaks.

justin go ahead and get you a good pair. righties. and just mix and match sole and heel. thats how i found my combo.

180 fury, when u said 90 dollars, did u mean for a pair of shoes or just for the 10 sole and 5 heel?
