Very strange night last night. I started by not being able to find a mark in practice. Then I opened the first 3 frames. I then moved way right and was aiming for the 5 board but was skittish about getting it out too far so I was usually hitting the 7 board. This was resulting in a ton of Brooklyn strikes but not the lucky got away with a bad shot Brooklyn shots but pocket crushing all 10 in the pit Brooklyn strikes. I finished with a 194 and then got the first 5 to cruise to a 234 the second game. Then my concentration failed me and I began to miss my mark badly and tanked the last game with a 143 so I finished with a 571 series. Talk about ups and downs.

Still averaging 190 for the night when my average is at 161 is not too bad but I need to work on not losing focus like I did. Our team went 2-2 and started the night in 6th place, four games out of first.

Brandon thanks, and great set last night. Was going to just congratulate you in chat, but it deserves to be stated here too! Very consistent night.

Good bowling cg it pays to keep the ball in the pocket.

Brandon, you bowled very well too, missed a triplicate by 4 pins the second game, that would have been a good triplicate to get too, I got one for 145 all three games with a 196 average back in youth league, they announced it too nelson

Brandon,

Especially after the 4 weeks of 400 series and my two worst series since my comeback that ended a few weeks ago. A good series for me even with the bad game thrown in.

My team is still in 9th place after this week, but taking 6 points from us helped lift the "Lounge Lizards," my cousins' team, from the league basement. If my team has any hope of winning the league championship, we'll have to start making a big move next week, as we're 14 points off the pace and there are only 4 weeks left in the season.

Last night of PBAX for me, Cheetah on wood. Moral of last night's story: always get to the house with plenty of time to be ready. I got there just as practice was starting, but then the lane assignments were messed up. I wandered up and down the house trying to figure out where I was starting, and by the time I found it I had time to throw one warm up ball. After a 150-206-161, the kick in the mouth was complete.

If there is such a thing as the yips in bowling, I think I've got them. I continue to work really hard on my spare game, and in practice it is getting better. When the gun goes off, though, the results continue to get worse. The only good spare ball I threw last night was on a 2-10, and on that one I wrapped the 2 around the 10. My strike ball accuracy is good and getting better, but I can't hit the broad side of barn with my spare ball.
