I know...atrocious words...right? Bottom line is that I have leagues at a semi-dry house and rarely get to use my Cell. Would anyone on here take the chance to throw some polish on a Cell? I don't wanna take anything away from the ball, but its been sitting a while...

I would suggest adjusting your axis tilt (12), finger positions (one to minimize hook) and maybe looking for a new line first. Then perhaps polish it, and if that doesn't work get the box finish put back on it. And I'm afraid then you'll just have to let it sit.

As for myself I stand about 15-16 and throw up 13 (I have slight drifting issue that I'm trying to address and until it's fixed I have accomadate for it) with a pretty decent reaction. This is on Medium oil lanes and drier lanes.

I'd say leave it alone, you'll need it the way it is if you hit heavy oil. Why make all of the balls in your arsenal work for one condition? What do you do when you see a different condition?

I wouldn't polish it, just save the ball for heavy oil. Buy a medium oil ball if you want something new. If you want to throw the ball just because you have it and polish it up, then the next thing you know you will need it for heavy oil and you will have burned it up and over used it on dry lanes. Just my 2 cents, do what you want.

Save it for heavy oil lanes dont polsih it. You have listed on your aresnal Ultra Zone. That might be better on medium oil.

You have a mismatch of ball and lane condition. Don't change the ball to match. When the right condition comes up, you have to change it back, and if not done properly, it will not be the same.

Either get a ball that better matches the conditions or move your line to take advantage of the ball. Find a line that will use the center oil on the lane. The Cell will thrive there.

I have a heavier oil ball which sits. Occasionally, being right handed, I will try a line that starts left, targets the middle arrow and pops out of the oil at 15, then is comes back nicely.
