The complete Nv is more for medium heavy oil, the total is for medium and can be sanded for medium heavy or shined for medium light, that covers a wide spectrum of lanes. I have heard some people don't like the NV, I personally loved the ball, I gave it to a teammate of mine who is still using it over a year old with no problems, but he and I take good care of our equipment, and don't let a Track burn into the ball.

Justin- While I don't have one, the Total NV is near if not at the top of the ball count in my PBAX league. Like Coach said, it is a ball that will serve well on alot of conditions. My benchmark is a Twisted Fury that I made some surface adjustments to. The Twisted is kind of spendy though. Unless you're going to be bowling in a PBAX or Sport league, the Hammer Psycho would be a solid choice. The only negative thing I've read about Hammer balls (Vibe, Venom, Psycho etc.) is that they don't excel on tougher lane conditons. They do, however, absolutely kill typical house and league block conditions.

you hardly see anyone on tv here lately with a Hammer. strange i didnt noticed that till chubbs said it. the team shoot outs thats been on lately has had a lot of Brunswick and Storm and Roto-Grip. some Ebonite and one MoRich user. ( jr. ) what was patrick allen using? looked like the nvd on that last game. couldn't tell on the rest though.

"Gumby" was the only Hammer staffer on that show, I think. The only ball I recognized in his hands was an Emerald Vibe, and he was throwing it on the Shark . The original Widow and Widow Bite seem to be the A team for Doug Kent and Tony Reyes. I know in the Roll to Riches Kent had an original Widow that looked quite shined up.

There are other Ball Companies who won't or can't pay the juice to the PBA. So, you will not see their balls on TV. Lane 1, Lane Masters and Track, I believe are among them.
Didn't WRW pay the MoRich fee, just so he could use their balls? There was some cooperation there.

I doubt he would. I was reading his website a couple years back, and after Brunswick dropped him from the staff, he refused to use their balls, and also refused to even name which balls he was using, because whatever company was not paying him. I am sure Mo is lining his pockets nicely.
