I would assume that the reference would be to the arrows or dots, not the markers downlane on
Brunswick's synthetics.
Once, in college, I was at a cosmic bowl type night, except no blacklights/glow lanes. As pointed out earlier in the thread by LudoMonster, I couldn't see the arrows with all the lights off. I happened to see a reflection about 5-10 ft past the arrows right around the board I wanted to hit. It worked out good for me, the lanes were older wood, and quite dry when we were there. Aimed for that the rest of the night and was lined up perfectly to the pocket and had great carry. It was the perfect example of targeting further down lane, it helped my ball get through the heads cleanly.
