Brandon,
What do you think of your Illusion?
I've got a chance of getting one dut I don't know if I will.
LMK, thanks. Illusion great ball. Gets through the head good and has good back end to finish. Right now im probally using it as benchmark ball. When my Resurgence is too much or need something that go longer down the lane ill turn to illusion. I been able to use it on medium to light condtions.

Sherman, it wasn't the league I wanted to be in (most of my new bowling friends are in it), but a few of the summer league people are in this league, too, so it's not like I don't know anyone in this league. Melissa, great bowling...remember what you did right that night and try to repeat it.

Well I had a much better outing than last week. I didn't dust the gutters hardly at all. As a matter of fact the only time I did gutter was when I was going for the ten and it just barely went right and ducked into the gutter just before it got to it.
The one good guy on our team is a college stundent and he had to quit because he had to reschedule some classes. I guess league night got in the way of his education. Bummer. The other guy we were supposed to pick up this week seems like he didn't show plus we were down one guy who was on vacation. So basically out of our 5 man team only 2 of us showed up. To top it off we also bowled the vacant team. With only two of us on the lanes we were finishing up while the other teams were finishing their first games. Early night for me.
I bowled a more me type of night. I had a 169, 178, and a 168 for a 515 and a 171 average for the night; I estimated my average would be around 170-175. Luckily, my average went from a 138 to a 155. I was able to string a few strikes together here and there and I missed some easy spares. I rolled the ball well and I could tell when I muscled it and of course it hit the pocket light. On one or two occasions my thumb was a little sticky and I pulled the ball slightly; a bit of my slick powder helped with this. All in all I only missed the pocket twice last night which I'm quite happy with. Now I just need to work on my spare game more.
Lastly, I was finally able to get in contact with my coach to reschedule my lesson. I need help with my releases and swing. She had to cancel on what would have been my first lesson back in June and I've been trying to reach her ever since then. She's been a real busy lady working with Team USA.

Thank you soooo much everyone - I am so excited to have finally done it given how much time I had been working with the one guy at the lanes. I practically knocked him down when I ran (literally) to tell him what I did. Pretty awesome feeling and 1 I can't wait to experience again.
Definitely going to try and remember how everything felt last night so I can do it next week. I want to have 3 good weeks in a row :-)
CG - What happened to you last night? Where were you?
