The Storm Dim is AWESOME, never seen a ball hook this much at my main house which is always a flood. I practiced there earlier and I normally stand 20-25 and aim 5-6bd. With the Dim I was standing around 35-37 aim at 6bd and throw a bit slower at first then normal speed later in the night witout moving.
I had used the Kinetic a bit too, standing around 25-28 and aiming 5 board. I found this ball is starting to flip to early (pin 5" from PAP). Carries lots of power into the pocket or smashed the face if early or left a board. I noticed this at 2 other houses so I'm gonna change the surface to 4000 grit and hope I can skid it out another 3-5ft before it flips.
If you league doesn't have coaches, ask around for help.

when i said i didnt need lessons, i didnt exactly mean it that way, heck yeah i need lessons, but i didnt post this thread to look for lessons, im looking for bowling balls, but thanks
What balls do you currently have, what lane conditions do you want the ball for and what reaction do you want to get out of the new ball?
You can go on bowl.com to find a coach, I tried just now, but it is down for maintenance. Check with the people at your church, if they are pros, they might be able to help.

The tornado is a weak dry lane ball, even weak as dry lane balls go. Try to get a good benchmark type ball that will cover many lane conditions with either surface adjustments or wrist positions.
Balls to look at would be the Brunswick Twisted Fury or avalanche solid, Ebonite Total NV, Columbia Rival or Momentum, Track UpRising, Lane #1 Ths, Hammer Psycho or original solid black widow, Storm Gravity or Rapid Fire pearl, these are just the ones that leap to mind that I am looking into myself.
thanks 180 fury, just let me know if u do find someone, and coach jim, u got that right on the tornado being a very dry lane ball, i can barely get thing to hook at all! but ill take a look at those, i have been looking into total nv and the new complete nv, do u know anything bout that one

the Hammer psycho is suppose to be more bang for your buck. its a little cheaper than the nv but it suppose to be better. mike bowls with it and an anger and he said that combo is amazing. he uses Hammer a lot and he love the psycho. pretty much my next ball. then i'm uprising
