I had bad night last night. I usually do alright in the PBAX league but last night was especially bad. Four triple digit scores but it was tough to not hit my average for four games (It's 152). But I think one of the best pieces of advice I got was that when things go bad start working on one thing at a time to get back to how you know how to bowl. Upon trying to do that all night last night, I learned three things. First cupping my wrist combined with a free armswing feels awesome and looks great, but my wrist is too weak and I think 16 pound balls might be too heavy. I have to work on my timing with a cupped wrist because my release or the point where I uncup my hand needs fine tuning. Lastly, I learned that when I open my shoulder I have drifting issue. A bad one. Sometimes it would be two boards but most of the time it was 6-7 boards. Granted I don't usually use do that but when I need some more side rotation I use it. I need to fine tune it.

The point is that when things start to go bad. Don't overthink the situation. Go back to basics and if you're hitting your mark and your breakpoint then start thinking or rather feel what might be wrong with your approach and try to correct it. Your body will remember how to do it and is you notice what is wrong the body will start to correct it as well.

And like everybody said 776 through three games. Most people would love to have that kind of night.
