Ron Clifton has several pics in his tip archive, most using Chris Barnes as an example. I was reading Bowlers Journal and they showed the release point of Mike Devaney, Sean Rash, and Jason Belmonte, they all have a similar release point to Chris Barnes. They get into the good release position by reaching as low as they can at the release point with their shoulders. This seems to snap the wrist straight when the ball gets to the bottom of the release. I usually try these ideas myself before telling them to you guys, but since I am not able to bowl yet, feel free to try it and give me some feed back.

Is there an easy way to change the Track? I was told on another forum that if my Track was rolling over my thumb hole that there was a problem with my delivery. They told me that Pin under had nothing to do with it since they all have high tracks with pin under and don't run over the thumb... I think I'm more inclined to believe you before them since you are a coach and they are just players..

Coach-

Pin in balls are those where the pin and CG are separated by 2" or less, correct? Am I doing something bad in my release that is causing my Track to be that high? You're right about pin under drillings; all the balls I have are pin above or level with the bridge.

Yes, that is correct.. My pin and CG are separated by about 1/4". So I can't drill any other way than pin under. My pin is almost dead center of grip it is about 1 1/2" north of center.
