I'm a Storm guy so I am would say the Street Rod Pearl.
Well, that was quick. I'm going to pick up my Street Rod Pearl tomorrow. Big ups to Dustin and his partner at Modern Bowling Solutions/All Star Lanes in Shreveport! I stopped in there this evening to roll a few lines after talking to Dustin about what I was looking for. His partner is a Storm amateur staffer, and they immediately pointed me to the Street Rod Pearl. They had their PBA league tonight, but Dustin was still taking time between his shots walking down to watch me and help me find my PAP. Great customer service! If you pass through Shreveport, definitely pay these guys a visit, they're good! I'll write up my initial impressions of the ball after tomorrow.

Hey chubbs, i'm thinking of getting a street rod pearl myself, as you probably know. Make sure your impression is good! LOL Really, have fun and let us know how it works out. I always take pictures before I roll them the first time, before they get all scratched and oily etc

I'm not in a league. Yet. But I am in a bowling class for college:) My arsenal: 15# Storm Street Rod Pearl 14# Ebonite Thunderbolt DB (belonged to my grandfather) 13# Columbia White Dot HG:143 HS:381
Just glancing around Ebay, there are quite a few older Columbia balls both used and NIB that would suit dryer conditions providing they had a good polish on them
Threw my Street Rod Pearl on a fresh 40' house shot yesterday, and the BTM review of it was spot on as usual. If I bumped the dry too early the ball would come in a hair high, but I did have some area left. The jumpiness actually got better as the pattern broke down. This ball is surprisingly angular at the back end for it's price point. Does as advertised, and does it very well. Storm is the heat!
