So, I just recently got a Brunswick Ultra Zone. I have been doing really well with it since I've gotten it. Barring a few bad shots here and there I've been consistently above my average. So I'm bowling with my dad in a doubles league and went and shot a 784 series with it. Smashing my old high series by 50 pins. I went 256-278-250, with 1 open all night. It really was incredible. I really love this ball. I highly recommend picking one up. Anyone else have any high games/series with a relatively new ball?

I wish I joined a league for the summer, but a couple friends of mine wern't ..committed.. as i am. They won't find 1 day of the week of to bowl? it was too hard for them? jeez. Anyways i have hit a new high game this week with my new special agent. My old high was 213, yesterday I had a very clean game, i think i had 1 open in this game 233! I was happy, now im striving for 180+ average. Seems verryy reachable.whooo

Nice going Alex, thats some pretty good bowling..one open all night. Thats a great feeling when everything goes great.

When I first got my Hammer Black Widow Bite, I shot a 730 with it. That was a fun night as well.

Nice shooting, Alex. If you've been following the summer league thread, you'll know that I recently established a new personal best series (a 642) as well, but that was with a ball that is no longer being manufactured (a Circle High-Voltage). Anyway, I'd like to see your post when you finally qualify for your 800 series ring. laugh

Good going Alex. I've shot pretty good with new balls a few time. The first time I took my Purple Ogre into league I rolled off a 700something series. I had practiced with it several times before then though. I started in the 220s and worked my way up into the 240s by the end of the last game.

Nice job Alex!

I bought a BVP Sidewinder yesterday, will use it for the first time tomorrow. Hope it works as well as your Ultra Zone.

Good bowling Alex! I was looking at the Zone series but I strayed away from them. I'm glad that the Ultra done is working for you!
