just wondering. is anybody from alabama ? just wondering. looking for a bowling buddy. sound stupid i know but heck can't seem to get anybody to go. nobody at work bowls. (out of 977 people just me ???) and can't join a league because of the way i work. i work swing shift and no leagues want that. so all i can do is saturdays and sometimes sunday. so i have to just wonder if anybodys close. sorry if it sounds weird.

That doesn't sound weird at all. ONe of the great things about this sport is the comrodery. It's perfectly understandable to want a bowling buddy. Besides it would be nice to have someone to watch and critique you as well as mess around and try new things with. Besides competition in any fashion will only make you better at the game.

As for the first part of the question, sorry, but i don't live in Alabama. That is an amazing number though, out 977 only 1. Wow.

I'm lucky. I am in a group of 8. We call each other often to bowl. And meet regularly on Tuesdays to bowl together. If anyone wants a practice mate, all he has to do is call, and one of us will be there.

Summer Season most house have limited number leagues especially on weekends. THough my house has i think about 5 or 7 leagues on weekend in winter and summer about 3.

Bowling buddies are common. I sometimes go with a group of friends that i bowled with when i was youth. Sometimes i go with other friends in my league. Sometimes we play pot games just to make it more intrestining

yeah i ask around at work alot theres only 2 shifts and no one does it. everyones like "yeah i go once a year and i drink half the time" so i'm out of luck there. its funny how my wife works at a bowling alley and i dont have someone to bowl with. shes sick of bowling now go fig. but dont blame her at all. the guys that work there comes by to say hi. but no one can stay and help me if i need it. but its cool people i thank you all for the comments just got to move it seems.
