My league starts again next week and runs 35 weeks! I haven't been around since the league ended last year. Towards the end of the year I was having wrist problems, pain and discomfort for the last several months. I'm hoping taking the full summer off has given me ample time to heal.

Anyways, I'm just psyched about league starting up again and I'm sure I'll be posting around here regularly once again! Good luck to everyone in your fall leagues smile

Hey,
Just curious, how much do you all pay a week for bowling in a league? I had no idea. A friend of mine says he pays $16 a week for his men's league. I thought that was a lot but he said that's lower than others he's been in. I've been away from bowling for toooo long.

$8.25 - Saturday Morning Juniors
$12 - Monday Night Junior Pros (4 games)
$9 - Friday Scratch or 9-pin, not decided yet
$10 - Sunday Night PBA Shot

Can't wait to go adult and pay more for the same amount of bowling wink

I settled for only three leagues this fall.

Seniors league is $8.00 per week
Mixed handicap is $16 per week
Clasic scratch is $20 per week plus $25 franchise fee.

Basically your league fees are paying linage, secretary fees, and the rest goes to the prize fund. So depending on the deal you get for linage, alters the overall fee. No one wants a low prize fund, so if linage goes up, the fee needs to go up as well.

Yeah, and there's a travel league I'd like to do also frown I still have just over a week to really decide what to do, like I might drop the Friday league depending on how many we get: during the summer only 9 people showed for the scratch league.

League Fees $16? They haven't been that low in several years. Monday Sport League $26/week
Tuesday Scratch League $22/wk
Wednesday Vegas League $20/wk
Thursday Mixed Hdcp League $18/wk

Well, this fall my leagues will run me $14 for the mixed and $20 for the competative league. We are getting a good deal on linage from the center, we wanted more prize money. In fact the competative league has a 75 thousand dollar prize fund with 25 grand to the first place team. The high rollers are coming out of the woodwork. Should be an exciting league.
