Jason Belmonte is a 2-handed bowler. It means using both hands on the backswing.

He throws 43 or 53MP/H on spare shots one handed.(Don't remember which it was, but anyways redicilously fast..)

That's funny. He hops into his slide when he throws with both hands. I wonder if he's ever fallen and thrown a strike or something like that. Something like an Acme cartoon springs into my mind.

I am guessing that since he is overseas, they measured him using kph. 43kph is 26.72mph. That is a little more believable.

Joe Slowinski has a set of drills to start the 2-handed learning process. One studies the skip step that is basically required to keep speed in the approach.

Yep, the 3rd and 4th have to be very quick and small sized. I bowled this way every now and then when I was righty, once when I learn properly to bowl with lefty, I'm gonna learn to throw 2-handed as a lefty too, just for fun.

One person at our center had to stop bowling one handed because his thumb couldn't just take it anymore, so he switched over to two handed bowling and his league average grew almost by 30 in less than one year...And he throws backup ball for some of the spares, like the 10 pin. And hes like 35-40 btw, so the 2 handed delivery is not impossible to learn in older age either.

Ah right. I remembered the video saying clearly on text "53MPH"..

Well, guess it was KM/H then.

26 is still pretty fast. that must hit like a tank. wouldn't mind seeing it in person too. that would be cool right there.
