I used to be on the bowling team way back when in high school and was a decent bowler but then I have only played a handful of times in the past 5 years but a few friends and I are thinking about making a bowling team and joining a league because we all want to get back into it. I was looking around on here and I really couldn't find anything about leagues in my area but I was hoping someone would be able to help me out with where and how I should go about joining a league. I live in tempe so I would like it to be a league based in either tempe, scottsdale or chandler if possible. I just dont want to run down to the closest bowling alley sign up for a league and find out there are only two other teams in it and one never shows up so its a waste of time....
Any input on which league and where to join would be greatly appreciated.

Go to Kyrene Lanes its at Kyrene and Chandler Blvd. They have several leagues and its a nice place.

I bowl in Tucson, so no help there, but here's a resource:
Some leagues at Kyrene Lanes

It will give you the most recent standing sheet, so you should be able to find the number of teams from this year and also pick off the handicap rules.
Bounty, Original Black Pearl (800 w/polish), Copperhead, Avalanche Solid (2000), Sidewinder, Liberator (4000), Faball Red Pearlized Hammer
