I still have my sketches that I did last year on this. I just haven't had the time to build anything. Sooner or later I think that I will be able to get to it.

Atomic:

120 would be the hottest I would go.

I think the top temp I've seen that you're supposed to take a ball up to is 150. I think that's what the rejuvenaters go up to.

Also, one of the requirements for the design should be that there is not direct heat on one part of the ball along with having fans to move the heat around.

My ball driller has a reviver it goes up to 140 degrees for 2 hours and then cools off for another 2 hours. it does two balls at a time. and has a pad in the bottom that absorbs oil that spills off the ball, I'm not sure if it makes contact with the ball, but if it does it is barely touching. There is a fan that constantly circulates the heat and the balls turn on rollers like the hot dog rollers.

This is the patent description of the bowling ball rejuvenator from 1998. I says the temperature is to be at 150 degrees. Higher temps could disturb polymers in the ball.
