Night started quietly enough, with 2 games around my average. I was experiencing some carry down in the second game, making a move outside before the lanes finally broke down for the third game. When I made the move back inside, it paid off in spades, as I had 7 in a row and very nearly took it off the sheet for 8 if not for a ringing 10. I was clean in that third game for a 258 and a 644 set. Team also got out of its recent funk, taking 6 of 8 points from a team ahead of us.
Seems I'm getting better every week.

Our team has crawled into 4th place. Only 3 behind 3rd, but 12 behind first. That's just too much to make up with 3 weeks left. But, I think we bowl them once, and maybe, we will get another chance on position night. Who knows?
We took 7 of 9. The only loss was by 30 pins, and I was 60 pins under average. I did some things that I haven't all year. I had 3 clean games. The one bad one, had 4 opens in 1 game. I made a bad ball change in that game too. But, I didn't pull all night. I just plain missed my spot, and slowed my speed.
Dennis, I had night like that i had a good game and i thought i saw transition or something and went with ball change. Then had a bad game and change back to original ball next game and found my line again.

Thanks Brandon, I saw my coach on Saturday, and I'm anxious to implement what I learned. There are only a few weeks left in my PBAX league and I think its about time I help my team mate out a little. I have been NO help so far.

Good luck, Eraser. It's good that you see your Coach while bowling in PBAX.
Brandon, I don't know why I changed balls. As you said, I thought I saw something on the lane that made me do it. But, my problem was not the first ball, but my spares. I missed 3 consecutive 1-pin spares, using my spare ball. I was lined up wrong.

Terrible Night. I felt very rusty tonight like i havent bowled in a while, which was about true i skipped my practice this week and it showed.
I had 10 opens tonight. Way too many opens. Just didnt make proper adjustment and good ball changed. I was off tonight way off. After last week bowling great i turn around and bowl terrible tonight. I guess thats bowling for you. If you really want to know 162-150-155 = 467

Last night on my PBAX league, we had the Scorpion pattern for the last time. Next week starts 3 weeks of the Cheetah to end the season. I have been in a huge slump all summer long, but finally last night I may have started to come out of it. In the first game.. I had a 154,182, then we switch lanes after two games. I had a little trouble finding a line in the first game of the second set. My ball was taking off late and I got a nice selection of splits and finished with a 133. I am thinking UH-OH here we go again. In game two I made a move that I should have made earlier and finished with a CLEAN 213.
Not great scores by any means, but for me it has been such a brutal summer that I was very relieved, and happy with the results. We took 8 of a possible 10 points, and I finally feel I was able to contribute to the cause. My teamate has been carrying me all summer and it felt good to help him out.
Thanks to my coach,..the end of my summer long slump may be near.
