I was brutal on my spares, just horrendous. I used a pearl particle ball, the Roto-Grip Mystic and had a pretty good look, but my spare game really suffered. I think 170 was my highest game. Speaking of being bit..I got bit by a cat when I tried to break up a cat fight just before I left to bowl. Bad move. He got me right down to the bone. My left thumb swelled up during bowling, and I could barely move it. Could be why my bowling stunk,..I was a little preoccupied. Naaah, Thats just an excuse..I just flat out missed everything. Anyways I stopped at the clinic on the way home and got a tetanus shot, and X Rays and anti biotics. So hopefully I can concentrate a little better next week when I get my last crack at the Shark before they change the pattern. Stupid cat....or more realisticly...stupid me. Amateur Team USA Hopeful Registered: 05/03/08 Posts: 413 A/S/L: 19/M/Tacoma, WA	Got to practice on each of the 5 patterns some after our metting last Tuesday. I didn't bowl on the "Scorpion" though but I think it was the Viper because when I bowled on the "Viper" it seemed to have more oil and a little less backend than when I last bowled on it, so me and my friend think they mixed them up. Either way, I think I have decent chances on the Viper and Cheatah, and the Scorpion if in fact they did mix it up. The Shark is okay but I really just gotta be on top of it and can't really miss. The Chameleon is the hardest one for me so far. I just didn't get a chance to find a line I was able to work with. Hopefully when I bowl on it in competition I can figure it out quickly. _________________________ BowlSK Profile

tbill Bracket Donor Registered: 02/16/08 Posts: 110 A/S/L: 38/m/ny	well, our 12 week spring league ended thursday night. we went in 2 points ahead, [on a 4 point system] and it came right down to the wire...we tied! so it was off to a one game roll-off. as luck would have it, 3 of the 4 of us bowled almost 30 pins over average in the roll-off, and the other team fell apart. so for me, it's been a good run so far, my team finished as league champs in the fall/winter league, this team took the spring leauge, and my son and i are in 2nd or 3rd in our scotch doubles league with about 4 weeks left. my highlight of thursday was a clean game, only threw a 189 score, but was happy about the clean game. _________________________ 145 avg 228 high game 583 high series working on all of them...... roto-grip pluto [15] roto-grip venus [14]
