LOL, of course. How else can you tell when the most action is going down at your house? I mean what kind of self respecting bowling alley are you, if you don't have to call the police for bar action control at least a few times a year.
Believe it or not, but a couple more common complaints that come into the office are about where in the house the manager puts a league. Some leagues complain that they are not close to the nursery and others complain that they are not close to the bar.

Cool! Our leagues always bowl in front of the bar. Teams of more than two can usually get a re-fill between turns! Very handy location but I have not been availing myself of the opportunities as often as I once did... and my bowling has suffered! LOL. Tuesday night was Summer League night.. I entered in the doubles, unpartnered. They found me one, which is neat, a lady first timer, bowls about 105 average which ain't bad at all, considering. My night went 200, 158, 168 and 136 (should have gone for a beer!) and my partner was solid with 94, 94, 105 and 115. The lane went to pot on the fourth game and I just planted split after split... it was crazy but fun to watch my Tornado hook like a Black Widow! Lookin forward to next week already! Keep up the reports, folks. Great series, Erin.. I hope to be able to get close to that this coming season. Cheers to all, Allan

Well, wednesday night was the same old same old. It started pretty good, with a 190 and a 189 games and then it happened: a 136 game to bring my average for the night to 171. Oh well. I have next week i guess.

Hey all, been gone for awile on break and very little bowling. Things get back into full swing tonight so we'll just have to see how it goes. Good to see Erin and Al joining in the thread As far as drinking I do best when I drink a cup of water between each beer. Seems to keep me sober enough to keep my game up.
We've plummeted down to 3rd in our league and have dropped 3 of 4 the last 3 weeks we've bowled. The few times I have bowled I haven't done stellar but I'm still hitting mid-170's to 180's. Hoping my game will come together just in time for the City tournament I won doubles in last year (bowled a 650 in it with a 152 average.. this year my card average is 175 and I haven't bowled a 600 in months).
Good luck all and good bowling. I may respond more as I get "caught up" on this thread.

We got slapped by 83 pins in the first game tonight even though we were all over average. The next 2 we took it to them winning by 56 and 89 to take 3 of 4 points for the night. I ended up with a 784 which is my highest ever, the anchor shot 672 and our lead off had 550 something which is over her average. (We only carry 3 bowlers) You should see the looks on team's faces when a team of 3 takes points from a full team. This was my best Friday in a looooong time, it came at a perfect time. I hope it's the start of a hot streak.

Things went pretty well Friday. I tried starting with my Xception 5.0 instead of my Rule GP2 and although I only got 2 strikes the first game the second and third games I made up for it with 7+ each game. Ended with a 576 series with a 226 sandwiched in the second game. Hopefully things are heading back in the right direction and I see another 600 soon. I'm finally getting used to "locking the thumb" - touching the back of the thumbnail to the side of the ball hole throughout the swing. This has been a major adjustment but I do feel the ball is coming off cleaner now and I never have sore muscles or tendons around the base of the thumb anymore.

Thursday Night Shot a 572 i lost my shot the last game. 200, 204 and then 168. Was marking up to the 7th i could not strike so made a drastic ball change and split one the 8th and 9th. I should of stayed with same ball and just moved.
Though we one game 1 & 2 by one pin and won game three by 10 pins.
