The rest of the specs are the same except the pin is closer to the pap.

ok if i was going to bowl on the viper and i wanted to drill a ball with the rico pattern which would be the best ball i like Brunswick and Storm but i was told i should have a ball with a symmetrical core.

It doesn't matter between symmetrical or asymmetrical, the type of ball and surface are what you need to match, you drill the weight hole through the mass bias any way so it doesn't matter.

I have seen much success with Brunswick and Storm equipment drilled with the rico. For the Viper I would pick the Fury Pearl or the twisted, if it was me.

do you think the avalanche would be a good ball for the rico for any of the patterns

It depends on your revrate and the amount of oil they use, it might work on the viper for people with lower speed to revrate or rev dominant players on lighter oil patterns, but might not be enough ball for heavier longer oil patterns or speed dominant players.

Then try the Gravity the Twisted or the momentum then, and you had better be able to make adjustments. Those balls are the most versitile out there right now, but that doesn't mean the same ball will work on all patterns, that is why people carry so many balls. If you only needed one ball then this game would be very easy.

You will never find any ball with any drill pattern on it to play all the patterns with. That is why people own more than one ball.
