Syracuse never does either. Last time it did was '93 and that was only because it was a literal white out for 3 days in...MAY!

Well, I just got home from a funeral service. Grave site in 3-5 inches of blowing snow. Went to a luncheon afterwards for 3 hours. Then to my friend's home, for a few drinks and relate a few stories of his passed wife. A wonderful woman.

Radio kept saying 5 inches, but when I got home, 50 miles away, there was about 8" in my drive, and still coming down. Supposed to keep snowing all night. It is now heading to Michigan.

It is really tough pulling a 4-ball roller in this stuff.

Well, I'm getting there.

Shot 228-223-221 tonight for a 672, my new career high series.

2 opens all night, 8 count in 1st frame of game 2, and an 8 count in the 8th of game 3.

Frankly, I'm glad I didn't pick em up because I would have shot 696 and been really disappointed.

Oh well, there's always next week.

I've been asked to sub on Monday night in a PBA experience league, where next week is the Shark pattern, so that should be interesting.

Well not as good as last week. It was fairly tight outside and if you threw it outside of ten it wouldnt make the turn. Frist came i tried to make it work from outside only had one strike and a lot of 9/ but three opens spilts killed me only shot a 157. Second game it was 8/ spare city. I just couldnt carry tonight. i wiffed 6-10 spare and failed to convert 7-10 splits. Then decided on a ball change and move inside my target to about 18 so move a good 10 boards. I found a hold spot and save my second game with a 4 bagger for 188. Third game i start off real good witha turkey then lost it i jsut could carry i spared all the way till the 10th when i went X81 (Choped the 6-10) for a 208.

So 157-188-208=553 two out of three games above my average. I bowled my average so satisfied how i bowled.

Team wise two of team mates didnt show up. One be out for a while tear tendon in his arm. Other didnt come. We lost 1st game by 70+ there third bowler shot a 267 at use. second game we won by 88 pins and third game we won by 103 pins. So we took 2 games and total points for 5 points out of 7.

Slimmy your getting closer. You'll get it. I had a 699 four months or five months ago left a split in the last game of 10th frame. Yeah i was disappointed. But i know i get it eventually.

Well the snow started here in the Detroit area about 5:30 am, later than expected. It snowed like crazy for about 3hrs., now at 9:00am.....nothing. We have about 2 inches, could the weather man oversold the "Big Storm"?

Not a great week for me bowling wise, Wed. night a 590 taking two of three, Thurs.night a 593 taking 1 of three. Lately I seem to have a game where I don't string strikes together, which tells me I am having a little trouble with adjusting to the lane conditions when they start to break down. I need to address that with my coach Sat. morning.
Uh oh...its starting to snow a little again ......

Slimmy - awesome consistency - that is great.

I bowled horribly last night (just a continuation of my bad day that started when I woke up). Not exactly sure what was going on but I do know one thing for sure, I am still have major issues with my release. Its like I keeping forgetting to follow-through. I have to get my head back in the game. I went in with a 160 - due to my bad scores I drop to a 159.

First game - 1st five frames were all opens. Wow - this will turn out to be my lowest game of the season. A 111. We were having trouble with the scorers - when the manager came down (who is also the guy I have been working with) I showed him the 111 and said that the machine really messed up my score LOL!!!! His face was priceless - he said "What did you do?". I looked back at him and said "Don't you mean what DIDN'T I do?".

Oh well - anyway, 111, 149, 169 for a 429. At least I improved every game. I'll take that as my positive for the week.

We bowl the vacant next week - I am hoping to get back on Track when I won't have to worry about the other team rushing me. The week after that (Valentines Day) I bowl my mom's team so there will be no rushing there either.

Maybe my head was elsewhere because a couple of our bowlers said that they want to nominate me for President because they want our current Pres gone. All fine and dandy I guess. Over the last year or so she has become detached from the league and doesn't seem to care about it. I was told that the main reason for the nomination is that I worked all summer to save the league without help and they want someone as President that will work to keep it together that actually cares about the league. We will see what happens at election time I guess.

I stopped by last night to drop a couple balls off at the Pro Shop. I couldn't exactly remember your picture, but I saw someone I thought be you right by the Pro Shop. Were you on that pair?

It was *packed* there. I've never been in at that time (8:30) on a thursday. Wow.

I was bowling directly in front of the men's room and I was sitting on the upper level closest the Pro Shop. It very well could have been me. I would have been at the 2nd table from the Pro Shop actually. I had on black shorts and a light pinkish shirt and my hair (as always) was in a ponytail and I was probably acting goofy crazy LOL!!

You should have asked for me and said hi. Maybe next time smile

8:30 - you got there right when the men's league was getting ready to start. At that time there is 3 leagues. The men's league, a smaller men's league and us. About 30 teams total until the small league and us are finished.
