Thought I'd share this...
A TV station report out of Iowa said that 78-year-old Dale Davis of Alta, IA, who is legally blind, rolled a perfect 300 game in one of his leagues at Century Lanes. It was not only his first 300 game, but also the first ever bowled at the center.

I am mildly surprised that the legally blind bowler's 300 game was the first in that house. Although he can't see the pins I wonder if he can spot bowl close to the foul line. My 85 year old mother has exactly the same condition(macular degeneration plus cataracts) but has peripheral vision and can still watch television close up and sign bills.
