Cheetah. It is definitely not dead - on a house shot, it pushes to the end of the oil, and then absolutely explodes left.

The ring finger pitch/size was off, so I left it there to have it matched up to the Big One, which is my most comfortable ball. That may have had an effect on my release - we'll see when I get it back.

Again, according to the Ebonite documentation, and what reviews have said, the Infinite One is later than the Big One, with more overall hook. Also, that is with box finishes of 4000 for the Big One, and 500 for the Infinite. I find that to be true in most cases. I think I will take the Infinite to 2000, to use when the Big One starts hitting poorly. It should fill in the gap between when the Big One is playable and when the VP2 is playable.

I am so psyched for this league to start.

According to BTM the Infinite One is for Heavy oil and the Big One is for medium heavy. They are pretty close, but the Infinite one has a lower length rating 9 and the big one has a length rating of 12. Besides the 500 grit box condition is never going to go longer than the 4000 of the big one at least in box condition.

The big one was also 4000 from the factory and you now have it a 1000. That may account for them not acting the way they're described.

Yep. In any case, it doesn't matter what it's supposed to do, it matters what it does for me, on this pattern. I think I'll have the best look with the Big One at 1000, the Infinite at 2000, and the VP2 at 4000. I'll take the Total to 4000 as you suggested Jim, to see if that evens it out a bit, but as of now, it's in the bag for this pattern. Next week, in practice, I'll also try out the Big One at 2000, and the VP2 at 2000 polished, to see how they look.

Ok, I will be taking the Infinite One to 2000, and the Total to 4000. We'll see how that goes.

First game, started with the Infinite but switched to the Big One early. 243, won the high game pot.

After that, it went downhill. I couldn't find a reaction anywhere. I was in the 150s the rest of the night. Stayed after to fish around more, and I think I found what I'm going to do. I hadn't gone any further out than a laydown point around 4. I was on a pretty burned pair, laying the ball down on 2 and 3, up the back with the big one and rotating it with the VP, and I had a nice look.

I need to find a finish for the infinite one and the Total that make them useful.

I also need to replace the VP2 asap with a 15 lb ball.

What happened when you threw the Infinite One or the Total?

What happened to the reaction you were getting from the Big One?

What do you want to replace the VP2 with?

The Infinite One was what I started with, but I soon had to move in so far (7 at the arrows out to 2) that it wasn't making it back up to the pocket. The total was still too hook-set - very axis rotation sensitive. I tried it in practice on a couple shots, and again after leagues were done. I found a line with it over 12 out to about 4, but again, if I didn't throw the shot perfect, I didn't hit the headpin.

The Big One started reacting inconsistently (my shotmaking suffered a bit in the middle too, was having some grip issues). Like I said, afterwards, I found that moving way outside, going straight up 2 or 3 with less axis rotation worked out. I have a new option for next week.

I have the sheet I kept Track of all my shots on upstairs - I will be looking at it in more detail later as well. I can post a full breakdown if you'd like.

I would like to replace the VP2 with something as close to it as possible. I also think that my Demo Days purchase will be leaning towards a strong pearl.

Is the Total drilled with the pin over the fingers? If so that is why it is a hook stop type reaction, you need longer oil for that type of drilling.

Maybe replace the VP2 with a pin under the bridge Gravity shift, or a pin over the bridge gravity shift and a pin under the bridge secret agent or fired up.
