Nice series! I've always found myself that I bowl good after having bad days/weeks before league. I ended up with a 698 last night, so I was pleased. Team took 4 out of 7. Last night was a position round, and the top 10 teams didn't change positions at all, even though we were all in shooting distance of each other. We're going to be bowling the same team for the third week in a row.

Wow, Mike, If you are like me, (somewhat superstitious) I would go back and repeat my worst day every time I bowled. I'd wear the same socks and underwear too.
Great shooting.

Thanks all! Dennis I'm definitely superstitious although not as much as I use to be. I'll be wearing those same jeans and the same shirt next Friday. I'll try it this time without the over the top craziness before bowling lol

Saturday is officially over, YEAH!!!! I started out with a 132 game. I just had a hard time getting to the pocket. In practice I nailed it every shot, including the time I fell on my behind, which struck. Then when the scoring started over reaction. I would move in a couple boards but the ball would hit light. I was making my spares, and then splits popped up. At that point I was frustrated and started making some bad shots. The second game I decided to change balls from my Purple Ogre to my Groove. I've been releasing the ball a lot cleaner recently which is revving the ball up more and allowing me to use this ball even on fresh oil with a fair amount of oil. When I get my spans and pitches changed I can only imagine how much more I could get. I was playing a similar line, maybe with a little point toward the pocket and the first 5 shots were in the pocket. The first one was high and left a 4 pin which I missed inside on a bad line up. The next four were 10 in the pit with authority. I think I only missed pocket twice that game, both on less than great shots that crossed over, one leaving a 6 pin and the other striking. I rolled a 206 game. The third game bad shots came back the first couple frames and I missed makable spares. I then attempt to get back on Track, strike then the next shot felt so good coming of my hand and looked so good going down the lane I turned and started walking away and when it hit the pins it sounded like 10 in the pit. I hear some expletives from my team and turned around to see the 8-10 split staring back at me. At that point I just said screw it especially after I missed a 4 pin on the next frame. I finished the game with a 147 and the night at 485. We only took 1 out of 4 points. We kind of got screwed out of a point. The other team only has 3 roster bowlers and a vacancy. Only one was there for the first game, and the league officers said that a vacancy counts toward a legal line up. After looking the rules up online it says that vacancies only count if there is a legal line up. We lost that game either way as we were no where near what we had to shoot to beat a blind. It would have given us total though as their score in the first game wouldn't count to their total. Either way we would have finished in the same position, eighth. We got to walk out with $220 per a bowler, $80 for finishing eighth out of ten in the second half and $140 for finishing fourth out of ten the first half. Now four more weeks on my other two leagues and then the major changes in my game can be done.

Yesterday night was my last day league. I glad it already over. I bowl 147, 148, and 186. Game 1: I have 2 splits/one made, 4 opens, 4 spares, and 2 strikes. Game 2: I have 2 strikes, 4 spares, 2 splits, and 4 opens. I missed 7-pin twice. Game 3: I have 3 spares, 1 split, and 6 strikes. I was trying to break my high game record but I can leave 200+ in game. Unfortunately I have no hambone after tried for 3rd strike, but I threw a cheap shot. I bowl well on last game. After the league, I walked off and drove home. I will not return next season of same league and same bowling centre. Next season, I will bowl in a new league at Brunswick Bowling Centre, and Deaf League (Travel league) (<- I know that I sign ASL that I learned in the college class.) (I not deaf lol!). I could bowl in many different bowling centres.

Nice shooting. Keep up nights like that and you will get your 800 in no time.
