CAN SOMEBODY LET ME KNOW WHAT THIS LAYOUT WILL DO? Is this going to be way too aggressive?? I think it is stronger than the recomended drilling #1 for the No Mercy. I think it is putting the "actual" mass bias in the conventional strong position. It is halfway between the Val and the center of the ball line that is 6 3/4 from the PAP. I don't know if the strongest posistion is there or is it half way between the VAL and the Track. OR is it at a certain degree or clock position in relation to the pin? What is the strongest mass bias position?

The HART is way left of the Track. It ended up around 4.5 inches left on my center grip line . I doubt a flare ring will get there or it might be the 4th 5th or 6th flare ring if it will flare that much.

I attached a pic of the layout.

From what I have read from the drill sheet, the mass bias is 90 degrees from the heart, why they did this is beyond me and is probably why they discontinued it. If the mass bias is located where you have it shown it will act like a stacked leverage drill with max flare and a max flare weight hole if it is located on the mass bias point.

Maybe Erin or another ball driller, can jump in and throw some better info, I am not 100% up to date on the ball and only glanced over the drill sheet when it first came out and wasn't thrilled with the idea of it from the start, so I didn't pay too close attention.

yes.. according to what the Hammer rep told me .. the actual mass bias of the no mercy is 90 degs from the heart, 6 3/4 inches away. I guess they did it this way to make the drilling easier if you just follow their layouts. or maybe they did it so people wouldn't freak out from the weird cg location. when I mark a line from the pin to the "actual" mass bias it puts the cg a little lower and way left of the pin, almost. I don't know how this happens but that is where it is.

The mass bias angle is around 67 degrees in relation to a line from the PAP to the pin.

With the cg that far to the left you are probably limited to the drilling patterns on Hammer's sheet, otherwise you are looking at having to put a weight hole on the Negative side of the ball to make it legal. If you want that mass bias location you are going to have to put the pin near the axis in order to make the ball drillable. Try to find a Pro CG layout sheet from Storm's site, that might help you out.

Just for my knowledge what reaction are you looking for?
