Nice going Brandon.
I did'nt fare as well on Thursday. After attending a funeral for a good friend, I was not in the bowling mood. I tried to make the best of it..175, 213, 184 for a 572. Not great at all. My scores could have been better and I should have finished above 600,..but I got a brain freeze and could not pick up my 10 pins. I think I missed about 5 or 6, I was around the pocket all night but kept leaving 10 pins.

We did take two of three games and totals for 6 points(we have an 8 point system) so thats a break from our 2 point nights we have been having lately.

Way to go Brandon,

As for me I had one of those awful nights. It seemed like I was either striaght on the head pin leving splits or coming up short and missing the pocket alltogether. I had 4 strikes all night, that is right 4 strikes in 3 games and 2 of those were in the 9th 10th of the last game.

So it was close to my lowest series ever with a 448 (136, 137, 175) but the last game saved me. I just put it down to one of those nights but I really need to figure out the lanes much quicker than the 5th frame of the last game!!!!

Scott, it looks like the Tues and the Wed group outperformed the Thurs group.
Better luck next week.

That is true Dennis but Brandon did his best to hold us up. I have fallen a bit behind in the class of the comebackers. I need to step my game up!!!

I had a pretty rough night last night. Fell asleep after dinner, woke up at 8:50 and rushed to the bowling alley only to feel dead tired.

Needed tape for my Paradigm in practice, but it was not needed by the 2nd frame of the 1st game.

Still, I struggled with squeezing and my armswing all night, never being able to get any rotation or a clean release on the ball.

Only managed to shoot 164-193-159 for a 516 series.

I'm officially in a slump now.

I did however just order a Black Widow Pearl, as I'm basically down to one ball and my Paradigm has always been my least properly fitting ball.

My Pyro is virtually useless now and cracked around the middle finger hole.

I'm dropping to 15lbs with the Pearl as well, so hopefully that will help me out of my slump.

I got to sub tonight, and struggled on a House Shot. My balls were too strong, and I had trouble keeping it outside enough. First game was 176 with a missed 10 pin and a Greek Church. First 10 pin I have missed in weeks. Changed balls for a 218 by striking out in the tenth to win the game for the team. I really liked what I did, because I successfully moved from the outside to an inside line, with the ball change. Final game, I made another ball change for some added length. Started Turkey, then missed another 10 pin, strike. Went X / X then a pocket 7-10 really hurt, followed by a overcompensating 6-7-10. Picked up a 10 pin in the tenth to win the third game. Whew!!!

Shot 580 something. It was good to be on a different shot, and force me to make choices.

this week i started out weeeeeak....i was hitting the pocket pretty heavy and leaving splits, left 6 high pocket splits in the first game and ended up with a 140...however i did my best to recover and moved a bit right just a board or two and threw a 195...last game i moved back to the original spot and everything fell into place coming in just below high flush, WITH a big 4 in the 9th...ended up throwing a 243 for a 578. Not too bad considering the bad start smile
